2 2
Well, today is my birthday. I was thinking about writing an entry that was all introspecive-y and pensive, but then I decided that I didn't want to at all. So instead, I will just post a few recent developments in my life:
I finally watched Rushmore. One of my favorite things about it was how it was in English. Seriously. But also it fits right in with my earlier post about Anderson matching theme to style. And also, I have now officially seen all of Anderson's feature-length films.
As of late I have started painting my nails. And wearing dresses? And sometimes crying a little bit during Olympic commercials. I don't know who I am anymore.
I maybe also got a paid internship working for the Sophie project in the German department. Which is validating and helpful for resume-padding.
Oh, and here's a big one: I maybe know what I want to do with my life. I want to work at a publishing company, as an editor. So NYC eventually?
I just finished God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater by KV. It is so good. About the money-river and the worth of a human abstracted from their usefulness. Read it.
Maybe more later.
